Every day, countless empty aluminum cans are redeemed for cash, and theatre, movie and concert tickets are redeemed to see the show. In the same way, an empty life can be redeemed. All the emptiness and dissatisfaction in life is because the world is broken, but even a broken world can be fixed. God sent Jesus to the world to fix it and redeem our lives. At this year’s Easter retreat, we will talk about redemption and what it means through messages, small groups, and regular people will share how redemption changed their lives. Plus, there will be time to get to know people and have some fun on the team challenge course, basketball court or while swimming in the pool. "For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect." 1 Peter 1:18-19 Sign up on the Facebook event page. On that day the LORD will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the angel of the LORD, going before them.
