The final prophecies of Zechariah are that the Day of the LORD is coming. People suffer due to the bondage of sin. The power of sin is so great that people lose power; their soul is captured and ransacked. People go into exile. People cannot face the sin and the power of the devil. But our answer is Jesus himself. The Lord will go and fight against our enemy, the devil.
On that day, living water will flow from Jerusalem. Jesus became our living water that cleanses and fills our hearts with overflowing water. Jesus became the king over the whole earth. He won the ultimate victory over Satan on the cross. Jesus said, “It is finished.”
On that day, there will be “Holy to the Lord” inscribed on horses’ bells. The cooking pots in the Lord’s house will be like the sacred bowls on the altar. We all will be “Holy to the Lord.” When Jesus comes, we will be Holy to the Lord and be used by God for his glory. May our life be Holy to the Lord and be used by him for his glory.
Prayer: Lord, please help our life to be ‘Holy to the Lord’ and serve the purpose you have for us.
