Josiah Celebrates the Passover

First, remembering God’s Saving Grace (1-19). Josiah celebrated the Passover as God commanded (4,6), helping the Levites prepare properly. He generously provided thousands of animals, as did his officials. Staying up late into the night, the priests and Levites served the people, preparing the lambs and burnt offerings. Musicians played and all the people joyfully and thankfully participated. The Passover was to remember and acknowledge how God had saved them from slavery in Egypt. God wants us to always remember his saving grace.
Prayer: Father, thank you for your saving grace. Help me to remember and acknowledge it always.
